Mandate of Planning & Development Cell

1. Scrutiny and preparation of PC-I to PC-V, FS, AA, SNEs, Quarter reviews, Draft ADP, Draft PSDP, CPEC, other Donar agencies and Annual Technical Program
2. Preparation of Schedule Next Expenditure (SNE) of the completed project.
3. M&E of the developmental and regular activities.
4. Statistical analysis of the experiment/Research work done by researchers in the department
5. Compilation of ATRP, KPI, socio-economic studies and different surveys census.
6. Processing of MOUs with Universities and other stake holder
7. Processing of CM & Governor’s directives and relevant summaries.
8. Meetings with concerned quarter

Dr. Fakhrul Islam

Principal Research Officer

Dr. Fakhrul Islam is a good researcher and working as Principal Research Officer/ Director Planning at Livestock & Dairy Development (Research wing) Peshawar. He holds the post of Director Planning since 15-07-2022. During his tenure various projects were submitted to administrative department.  He has 21 years of Research experience including 05 years of administrative experience holding the post of Section Officer at Agriculture, livestock, Fisheries & Cooperative Department & 02 years of Planning & development at L&DD (Research). He has 09 research publications on his credit in reputed journals. He is also a PhD Scholar at University of Agriculture Peshawar and his PhD work is near to completion.

Dr. Muhammad Shakir Khan 

Deputy Director (Statistics & Economics)

Dr. Muhammad Shakir Khan is a seasoned Statistician, Researcher, and Data Analyst with over 15 years of professional experience. He holds a PhD in Statistics from Islamia College Peshawar and specializes in regression analysis, statistical modeling, and machine learning. As the Deputy Director (Statistics & Economics) at the Livestock & Dairy Development Department, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, he oversees data management, research guidance, and project planning. Dr. Khan has published extensively in reputed journals and led numerous research projects in livestock and genetics. Proficient in R, Python, SPSS, and other analytical tools, he is passionate about advancing his skills and knowledge.
