Brief Introduction / History
Veterinary Research & Disease Investigation Center (VR&DIC) D.I. Khan formerly known as Veterinary Research & Disease Diagnosis Laboratory (VR&DDL) was established in 1986-87 as a developmental project and in 1987-88 it was converted into non-developmental side.
VR&DDL was upgraded to VR&DIC D.I. Khan an d is under the direct control of Directorate General (Research) Livestock & Dairy Development Department Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

Mission / Vision
The mission and vision of the center is to control most fatal and contagious diseases of livestock and poultry through vaccination and early vaccination and early diagnosis and insuring disease free livestock and by-products of livestock like (milk, meat and poultry meat) and in this way improving the socio-economical condition of the poor farmers of the area.
